I'm a graphic designer with 20+ years of experience who fell head-over-heels for the world of lettering over a decade ago.

Initially, I was a lettering self-taught warrior, but the love for the craft fueled a desire to learn from the best. So, I took classes with lettering legends like Ken Barber, Jessica Hische, and Mary Kate McDevitt! ✍️

In 2015, I joined Tombow USA as a Lettering Influencer, a dream come true that gave me the perfect tools to unleash my lettering creativity and share the magic with the world! @magicmaia

But the journey didn't stop there! That same year, I became a Lettering Design instructor at Chavón Art & Design School in the Dominican Republic. Teaching this magical art form at the Caribbean's most prestigious design school solidified my passion for lettering education in a major way!

While the past few years have been a fantastic freelance graphic design adventure, 2024 marks a big shift! I'm diving back into the lettering world headfirst, not just as a hobby, but as the heart and soul of my career.
